Clinical Study for People with Lupus - Enrolling Now
The XSEL clinical research study for lupus is enrolling now at Northwestern Memorial Hospital In this study, we are inviting volunteers to test a new investigational treatment for lupus that’s unlike anything previously tested.
If you qualify for and participate in the study, you may receive this investigational medication or placebo (inactive) treatment. To qualify, you must:
• Be 18 to 65 years old
• Have been diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (contact us if you aren’t sure)
• Have active symptoms not fully controlled by your medications
If you volunteer and qualify, you’ll visit our office about every two weeks for up to 36 weeks. At these visits, our study staff will perform tests and assessments to check your health. We’ll also protect your privacy and keep your information strictly confidential. There will be no cost to you for participating in the study, and no health insurance is needed.
