When was the lupus diagnosis?
My family members were diagnosed Sister & Brother over 60 years ago.
How long did it take for a correct diagnosis?
Years
Although you don’t have lupus, how has the lupus diagnosis changed your life?
Greatly as I was 9 years old when my Oldest sister at 12 was diagnosed initially the Doctors told my mother they couldn’t do anything and go home and enjoy your daughter however my mother & Aunt did not take that for an answered and searched and found a doctor who was able to diagnose it and begin treatment in 1960. She passed away from a complication with Lupus at age 69.
How do you make the Illinois lupus Walk and the Virtual run Walk ride personal?
Used social media and sent letters. Social media to keep everyone informed on my bike rides. We rode 250 miles last August.
